At Astoria Nail Bar, we are committed to providing every guest with a relaxing, clean, and
professional experience. To ensure the best service for all guests and to help our salon operate
smoothly, please review our policies below.

  1. Appointment Policy
  • Appointments are highly recommended to ensure availability and the best service
    Experience.
  • Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.
  • Late arrivals may result in shortened service time, rescheduling, or cancellation depending on technician availability.
  • Astoria Nail Bar reserves the right to adjust appointments based on scheduling needs and technician availability.
  1. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
  • We kindly ask that guests provide advance notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations, excessive lateness, or no-shows may affect future booking privileges.
  • A deposit may be required for longer services, group bookings, or special reservations.
  1. Late Arrival Policy
  • If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • However, to avoid disrupting other scheduled appointments, your service may need to be shortened, adjusted, or rescheduled.
  • Guests who arrive excessively late may be considered a no-show.
  1. Service Satisfaction Policy
  • Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you have any concerns about your service, please let us know immediately before leaving the salon.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to address service-related concerns when they are
    reported at the time of the appointment.
  • Once a guest has left the salon, any request for an adjustment will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Astoria Nail Bar reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution for all service

concerns.

  1. Service Guarantee & Nail Adjustment Policy
  • Astoria Nail Bar provides a 5-day limited guarantee for qualifying nail services, beginning on the original service date.
  • This guarantee covers only verifiable workmanship issues related to services performed by our salon.
  • Guests must contact us within 5 days of the original appointment for any eligible repair consideration.
  • Any adjustment or repair must be reviewed and approved by management.

Exclusions
This guarantee does not cover:

  • Regular nail polish services
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Breakage, lifting, or damage caused by accidents, negligence, or improper aftercare
  • Damage caused by harsh chemicals or external force
  • Biting, picking, peeling, or self-removal
  • Services altered by another salon or individual
  • Personal preference changes after service completion, including changes to color, design, shape, or length

Once the service has been completed, Astoria Nail Bar is not liable for guest preference
changes regarding nail color, nail art/design, shape, or length.

  1. Health & Safety Policy
    For the safety of our guests and staff, Astoria Nail Bar reserves the right to refuse, stop, or
    modify any service for anyone with:
  • Open wounds
  • Bleeding
  • Nail fungus
  • Infections
  • Contagious conditions
  • Ingrown nails
  • Inflammation, swelling, or pain around the nail area
  • Any other nail or skin condition that may make the service unsafe or inappropriate

Astoria Nail Bar does not diagnose, treat, cut, or remove ingrown nails. Guests with ingrown
nails should seek treatment from a licensed medical professional or podiatrist.
In some cases, we may recommend that the guest seek medical advice before receiving
services.
Please inform us before your service if you have any allergies, sensitivities, medical concerns, or if you are pregnant.
Astoria Nail Bar is not responsible for any discomfort, irritation, or medical issues related to pre-existing nail or skin conditions.

  1. Personal Belongings
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
  • Astoria Nail Bar is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
  1. Children & Additional Guests
  • To maintain a relaxing and safe environment, we kindly ask that only guests receiving
    services remain in the service area unless approved otherwise.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • For safety reasons, Astoria Nail Bar is not responsible for supervising children.
  • We reserve the right to limit additional guests or ask for quiet supervision if needed.
  1. Refund Policy
  • All services, retail products, gift cards, and memberships are non-refundable.
  • If there is a concern regarding a service, we may offer a reasonable adjustment at
    management’s discretion instead of a refund.
  • All decisions regarding adjustments, credits, or other resolutions are at the sole discretionof Astoria Nail Bar.
  1. Right to Refuse Service
    Astoria Nail Bar reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including, but not
    limited to:
  • Rude, abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior
  • Inappropriate conduct toward staff or other guests
  • Health or hygiene concerns
  • Unsafe service requests
  • Failure to follow salon policies
  1. Pricing & Service Changes
  • Prices may vary based on nail length, shape, design, extra time, product usage, or special requests.
  • We will do our best to communicate additional charges before the service is completed.
  • Prices, promotions, and salon policies are subject to change at any time without prior
    notice.
  1. Payment Policy
  • Payment is due in full at the time services are completed.
  • Guests are responsible for reviewing their service ticket before payment is finalized.
  • Discounts and promotions must be applied at the time of checkout and cannot be added
    after payment is completed.
  1. Gift Card Policy
  • Gift cards are valid for services and products at Astoria Nail Bar only.
  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
  • Astoria Nail Bar is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of gift
    Cards.
  • Gift cards must be presented at the time of payment.
  • Promotions or discounts may not be combined with gift card purchases or redemptions
    unless stated otherwise.
  1. Photo & Social Media Policy
  • Astoria Nail Bar may photograph or record services and finished results for marketing and social media purposes.
  • If you prefer not to appear in any photo or video, please let a front desk staff member or
    manager know before your service begins.
  1. Agreement to Salon Policies
    By booking an appointment, entering the salon, or receiving services at Astoria Nail Bar, guests
    acknowledge and agree to follow all salon policies.
